【摘要】:Thistestmethodwillfindusebypartiesconcernedabouttherelativeopticalstabilityofvariousprintingandwritingpapers.Thetestwillprovidemanufacturers,paperusersandotherinterestedpartieswithquantifiedrankingsofpaperstabilitythatidentifypapersthatarestable,moderatelystableandunstablewhenexposedtolightoverperiodsoftime.Thestabilityrankingsmaybeusedfordefinitionoftherelativestabilityofpaperstolightexposure,butwillnotdefinespecificperiodsoflifeexpectancyofagivenpaper.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesalaboratoryprocedurefortheexposureofprintingandwritingpapertoxenon-arclightatelevatedlevelsoflightfluxtopermitacceleratedagingofthattypeofpaper.1.2Thistestmethodspecifiesthesamplepreparationandconditionsofexposurerequiredtoobtaininformationontherelativestabilityofpaperwithregardtochangeinopticalpropertiesbroughtaboutbyexposureofsuchpapertolight.1.3Thistestmethodprovidesqualitativeresultsregardingpaperstabilityanddoesnotdefinethelifeexpectancyforagivenpapertoreachaspecifiedsetofopticalproperties.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
