【摘要】:ThispartofISO15004specifiesfundamentalrequirementsforopticalradiationsafetyforophthalmicinstrumentsandisapplicabletoallophthalmicinstrumentsthatdirectopticalradiationintoorattheeyeandforwhichthereisaspecificlighthazardsrequirementsectionwithintheirrespectiveInternationalStandards,i.e.allophthalmicinstrumentslistedinAnnexB.Itisalsoapplicabletoallnewandemergingophthalmicinstrumentsthatdirectopticalradiationintoorattheeye.WheredifferencesexistbetweenthispartofISO15004andthelighthazardrequirementssectionoftherespectiveverticalInternationalStandard,thentheverticalInternationalStandardshalltakeprecedence.ThispartofISO15004doesnotapplytoradiationthatisinexcessoflimitsspecifiedinISO15004andthatisintendedfortreatmentoftheeye.ThispartofISO15004classifiesophthalmicinstrumentsintoeitherGroup1orGroup2inordertodistinguishinstrumentsthatarenon-hazardousfromthosethatarepotentiallyhazardous.
