【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofethyleneoxideinpolyethoxylatednonionicsurfactants.Itcanalsobeusedforcompoundscontainingpropyleneoxideoranycompounds(glycolsandglycolandpolyglycolethersandesters)whichformunstable1,2-diiodidesonreactionwithhydriodicacid.Note18212;Compoundsinwhichtheoxyalkylenegroupisconnectedtoanitrogencannotbeentirelydecomposed.Thiscanbeusedtodeterminethepercentofanethoxylatedsurfactantinamixture,iftheethyleneoxidecontentoftheethoxylatedsurfactantisknown.Note28212;Thismethodreportsresultsaspercentethyleneoxide.Ifthismethodisappliedtounknowncompoundsorcompositions,theanalystshouldbeawareofthepossiblepresenceofmaterialotherthanethyleneoxide.Note38212;ForuseonbuiltsyndetcompositionstheorganicactiveingredientmustbeisolatedinaccordancewithTestMethodD2358.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.MaterialSafetyDataSheetsareavailableforreagentsandmaterials.Reviewthemforhazardspriortousage.
